Our Story

In 2023, Cyrus Zahiri founded Computers for a Cause, a non-profit organization aimed at bridging the digital divide by donating refurbished computers to underserved communities. As our inventory expanded, we organized digital literacy workshops for students and adults who received these devices, empowering them with essential tech skills. Our efforts extended through school donation drives and building partnerships, significantly increasing our impact. With the support of a $4,000 Junior Fellowship grant, we documented our journey and expanded our mission, offering tutoring sessions in underserved schools across Los Angeles. Together, we are committed to fostering digital literacy and making technology accessible to all.
